houston, we have progress (dr. update)

Today I had my 38 week appointment, and boy did we hear good news. First, my platelet count from last week was 151k. That was enough to make my day! So now we're in the clear for a possible epidural. I do have to keep up taking my medication to insure that my count stays up. Second, Dr. Sutandi said that my cervix was still soft but didn't say if I was any more effaced. Third, he said that I was 2 centimeters dialated already. I was extremely happy with this news, as was Brad. The dr. even said that he thinks it's possible Katelyn could arrive next week. I am so excited! It was a good day for us. Keep checking back for more updates.
