Weekend Update

The weekend started off with mommy finding a playset that used to be Katelyn's and now is being used for Mitch. However once Katelyn spotted it she wanted to play with it and I had to explain how she now needed to share certain things. She was ok with that as long as she could help and still play. Mitch was content in it for awhile and seemed to be listening to the music that it played. But after some time of laying there he did start to get fussy and play time was over!

Yesterday I took advantage of the fact that Katelyn was sitting with me and willing to be still and attempted to do a double french braid to her hair. To my astonishment it worked! The left side was easier to do as it was the side with less hair since she has a side part, but I finally got the right side finished. I plan on doing it more in the future for outings so people can actually see it in person! She looked adorable and left it in for the remainder of the day which is awesome because she normally takes out everything soon after I did it. I also think that she really liked it, it kept the hair out of her eyes!

Of course she wouldn't just give me a regular smile and pose and did a goofy picture!

Here we see all of her "babies" lined up on the couch after she was sitting there watching Finding Nemo today. Usually she takes with her a select group like her dog, fish, and two duckies but today she included the Mickeys.
