Katelyn update

Katelyn is growing quickly and just ran across the living room as I wrote this sentence. She was 18 months on the 9th and her weight was 21 pounds. She is still very tall for her age and still in the 90th percentile. She is a firecracker! She is learning new words everyday, her latest being book. She says thank you when we give her things and also when she gets them back. She is learning what she can and can't do everyday. She also still totes ducky around and couldn't survive without him!

House update

Here some new pictures of our house so far. The pictures are going backwards with the newest ones here at the top. Basically the rough electric is finished and the rough plumbing will be here shortly. Bricking began today and will go into next week. We should get our garage doors next week. The kitchen cabinets will arrive the first week of August. Our alarm system will also be installed in early August. Thats all I can think of at the moment. I will try to do a better job of updating here in the future!

Our weekend

First off we left early on Friday for Columbus. We had to be at Missy's rehearsal at 6 and we wanted to make sure we had enough time. We arrived at Kevin and Hillary's and we got to see Jack. He is getting so big! We left Katelyn with them to go to the rehearsal and dinner. The rehearsal was at a golf club and wow! It was a beautiful place and nothing we've ever seen. Missy is my and has been my best friend and she chose me as her maid of honor. I wasn't expecting it as she has two sisters, but she couldn't choose! Anyways we went through the rehearsal and then to the dinner. It was a yummy selection of pasta. After a long night we went back to Kevin and Hillary's.

The next day went along smoothly. Everyone stayed calm, including Missy! We got ready and had our hair done, we had fun. The whole wedding was a blast. I didn't know two of her other bridesmaids but by the end of the night we all became friends. Brad had to take care of Katelyn since I wasn't around and he did a great job. He did have a little help from his parents who also went to the wedding. But Brad was super daddy!!! She looked adorable in her dress. I will try to post pictures as soon as I can. I unfortunately got a sunburn on my shoulders and back as it was an outdoor wedding and I wasn't prepared! Oh well! It was about 7:30 when we decided to leave, we wanted to come back home and get Katelyn to bed at a decent time. I am so proud to have been a part of my best friends wedding. She is currently in Cancun for two, count 'em, two whole weeks! Jealous!

On Sunday we took it easy and relaxed. It was a beautiful day. We are now looking forward to this upcoming weekend as we are heading toMaryland to spend the holiday with some of Brad's family. It will be a blast. Plus we can meet Nick and Stephanie's new baby Ryan!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to our grandfathers, dads, to any dads in our families and to any expectant daddies in our families! I want to wish Brad a great day also! You are the greates dad with Katelyn! She loves you so much as do I.

I accidentally uploaded the pictures backwards. The framing pictures are on the bottom and they started putting the waterproof paper on yesterday. We got the trusses yesterday also but they will probably start putting those up on Monday. Its so exciting to watch the progress!
