my big girl!

Katelyn is 3 months old today and will be 13 weeks tomorrow. Brad, Katelyn and I will be going to Sears tomorrow to get some official pictures done. I hope that they turn out good. She loves to sit for the camera, at least for me!

Saturday we are planning on going to see Uncle Kevin and Aunt Hillary. I'm looking forward to spending the day with them and our families. On Sunday we are spending Easter with my family at Grandma Grimes' house. Katelyn is going to have a big weekend ahead of her. I'll be sure to take a lot of pictures so I can post them for all to see!

I don't think I will be able to get online again before Sunday so I'm saying it early...

Cute Items...

This is a post about some things I would love to get for Katelyn. When I'm bored at work (and have nothing to do), I will search online for new clothes/items for her.

The first thing is a cute child's chair that I saw in a Pottery Barn catalog for kids. Ever since then I've wanted one for her room. This would be probably a future Christmas present for her. The second item I happened to see on another bloggers page. They are called BabyLegs and basically are leg warmers for babies. She can wear a onsie and these warmers if I didn't want to keep pulling up and down her pants during diaper changes. (I'd only use them while at home.) They seem very convenient and fun. This particular style is called Chutes. They're so many different colors and styles to choose from and I think this one was cute. www.babylegs.net


The third item is a stuffed animal. I know, its a little odd. But I think its adorable! Its actually from a line called Ugly Dolls (www.uglydolls.com) and this one is called Puglee. There was one featured in the movie Zathura and thats when I first saw them. I had to find out where you could buy them and want one for Katelyn. The second picture is the whole family of dolls.



There is actually a store in Troy that carries the BabyLegs and the Ugly Dolls that I'm hoping to go to soon. Its called Pinky Scout and I think its on Main Street. www.pinkyscout.com Their website has a ton of cute stuff!

new (12 week) pictures

Here are some updated and new pictures of Katelyn, as well as a shot of Brad and Lacey.

Brad and Lacey after a long day. He asked me later if I put her there and I said no, she was protecting you! Where ever Brad is, Lacey is not far behind. She loves him so much.

This picture is from last night, right before I fed her. She was being patient so I took the opportunity to take a quick shot. Her nose has healed from where she accidentally scratched herself.

Here she is checking out her blanket! She's figuring out how to use her hands.

12 weeks

Katelyn was 12 weeks on Friday. I can't believe that she's almost 3 months. She has been wearing her 3 month clothes for the last week. She is getting so big! She loves to smile and we love to make her smile. I cannot wait for this upcoming Easter weekend. She will finally meet my dad's side of the family. It'll be fun. I told her to get ready because she will be the center of attention! I have a special cute outfit picked out for that day also. It'll be a cute little dress! I just hope the weather will be nice. Hopefully I will be able to post some new pictures tomorrow.

new pictures

I've been taking a bunch of pictures and try to take one in each of her outfits that are new. She loves the camera! In some of the pictures you might notice a red mark on the side of her nose, she accidentally scratched herself the other day. I've got to cut those nails!

Last night I gave Katelyn a bath by myself for the first time. Usually we try to do it together but Brad was busy working. Its pretty hard to do it myself but we had fun together. However, immediately after we were done and I put her in her towel she decided to pee! So I had to clean her up and quickly put her in a diaper so that wouldn't happen again! She always makes me laugh.

11 weeks

Katelyn is 11 weeks today.

11 weeks ago I was in the most pain I'd ever been. 11 weeks ago we were so happy. 11 weeks ago our lives changed forever. We are so in love, to each other, to our daughter.

Katelyn is 10 weeks!

Katelyn was 10 weeks on Friday but I didn't take pictures of her that day but I made up for it over the weekend! We bought her a bumbo and she looks so cute in it! She is able to hold herself up fine to sit in it, she has such a strong neck! I put her in her first pair of jeans too. They were a little big on her but I couldn't resist it! She was so friggin cute in them!!! She is getting so big!
