33 weeks

Today I've hit the 33 week mark. My belly is getting bigger and its showing in my face as well. I knew this would happen but I just don't like it! Something new thats been occurring this week, I've been waking up with stiff hands and fingers. My right is worse than my left but if I work them out and keep moving them around they are fine by the time I get to work. And as usual, my feet are killing me! :)

On a side note, Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I can't wait to see mine and Brad's family. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

More pics from the party...

I took some more pictures last night of the gifts and the room after I set some of the things up. I love everything I got and couldn't wait to put them all where they belong. Her dresser is almost full already! Her room is cleaned up and finally put together. Yay!

baby shower

Yesterday was my baby shower that included a lot of Brad's side of the family and my friends. I am so lucky to have such great family and friends. It was so much fun! I got a lot of things from the registry which was awesome and a lot of added bonuses. Not to mention a bunch of clothes! Those were mostly from my mom of course!! Laura got her a tiny pair of blue and red Nike's that will match any Piqua gear she might wear. Also, there was an entire bag dedicated to Ohio State wear. Everyone will know who she's rooting for! She will be the most stylish baby girl! I also got the finishing touches for the room, like the lamp, wall art, mobile and blanket. Those were from my mother in law and I am so fortunate to have such a sweet mother in law! I put those out right away and the room looks great. It is now a little cluttered with all the bags though! After the party I was able to put almost everything away which was fun in itself because I got to go through everything again. It was a great day! My mom ordered the most beautiful cake and got personalized pink m&m's which said Kim & Katelyn. Everything was great and I couldn't be happier. Thanks to everyone, especially my mom and Laura - the hostesses! -- Grandma, I know you will eventually read this and I wanted to let you know that I loved the wrapping paper!

32 weeks!

Today I am 32 weeks along. Wow. I can't believe I have possibly 8 weeks left. 8 weeks left of just Brad and I, of quiet times, and of sleep! Speaking of sleep, by this time I think most pregnant women have insomnia or lots of trouble sleeping, but I sleep almost all the way through the night only waking about 15 minutes before my alarm would go off. So I'm pretty happy about that, of course I probably just jinxed myself!

This weekend will be a big one for me as Friday is the premiere of Twilight and Sunday is my first baby shower for friends and Brad's side of the family. It'll be great! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures!

What was red is now green.

Last week Brad primed the red wall and this weekend he decided to paint it the green color that we had picked out. I think it looks great and it matches so well. Brad did a wonderful job, he would'nt let me help because he thought the fumes would be to much for me and the baby. So everytime I got the chance I would help out with anything else he needed. I am so glad that this is finally done and out of the way. Its so exciting!

Twilight

The movie Twilight, based on Stephenie Meyer's bestselling book, comes out in one week. 7 days. I. am. so. excited! Of course I will be dragging Brad along with me! When I first got the book, which was recommended by a friend, I could not put it down. I think I read it in 3 days. Its such a great book and I can't wait to see how the film adaption will be. From what I hear the movie should open to huge numbers. The soundtrack alone was a hit. I am looking forward to next weekend!

31 weeks

I am now 31 weeks! Can you believe it!? Its hard for me to believe. Time seems to be flying by and yet not going fast enough. I want to meet this little girl who's been kicking me like crazy! Yesterday I had a doctor appointment and it seems Katelyn is sideways across my stomach so the doctor isn't getting a good measurement and just to be safe we are going to be doing an ultrasound at my next appointment for a more accurate measurement. He assured me its nothing to be worried about. My appt. was scheduled for December 2nd so we'll find out how she's doing then.
