we have a roller

So recently Katelyn has started rolling over onto her stomach. This is great and while we haven't actually seen her do it, we have found her screaming on her stomach! She will do it and be ok for a few minutes and then get instantly frustrated and start bawling. Its actually funny, except for this morning when she woke us up at 3:45 am on her stomach screaming.

Today is Katelyn's 4 month appointment and I will update later or tomorrow.

Another story, this one from yesterday: I had Katelyn laying beside me on the couch playing with her. She had on booties and kicked one off. I took it and showed it to her when she grabbed it, looked at it and then promptly stuck it in her mouth! Obviously I took it back laughing. She is too cute.

4 months!

On Saturday Katelyn was four months. I cannot believe how time goes by so quickly. She is growing like a weed!!! On Wednesday we go to the doctor for her 4 month check-up so then we'll see how big she actually is. Also she'll be getting more shots, so I'm having Brad go with me this time to help me calm her down. I hope she does well with it. We got to spend time with both of our families this past weekend and Kevin & Hillary came down as well to see her. Here are some new pictures.

Happy Mother's Day

I know it was yesterday but I never got online to post it but still wanted to say it.

Mine by the way was fantastic. Brad got me the birthstone ring I've been wanting, its Katelyn's birthstone set in between two small diamonds. It is beautiful. Here is the picture from the jewelrys website. I love it.

Today is Brad's birthday, so happy birthday sweetie! Katelyn can't say it but I know for sure she's thinking it! :)

1 year ago today...

I found out that I was pregnant. It was 2 days before Brad's birthday and when I found out I told him it was an early birthday present! I can't believe its been a year, what a crazy ride! :)

Daycare...

Yesterday was Katelyn's first day at daycare. I was thinking of her all day while I was at work. Apparently so was Brad, he called Cathy to check on her. As it turns out, she was perfectly fine. All of the children were smitten over her. Katelyn wasn't used to all the noise and didn't take very long naps while there. Cathy said she was overwhelmed with it all. Other than that she did great. I was relieved. When I got there to pick her up she was sitting in a bouncer and had 5 or 6 little kids all around her trying to keep her attention. One little girl said, 'who is that?' as I was coming in. It was funny. They kept telling me how Katelyn would smile at them and how cute she was. They all liked her. She was the center of attention! Hopefully today and the rest of the week goes just as smoothly.

16 WEEKS

I don't have much to write about but I wanted to post that Katelyn is 16 weeks today, getting close to 4 months! She also wore her first 3-6 month outfit yesterday. She's wearing one today that might still be a tad big on her but is so adorable. (Its the one Kevin & Hillary got her for Easter.) I'll be sure to take a picture of her in it and post as soon as I can for you!
