Haircut, successful!

Katelyn's haircut yesterday went so well. She sat still the entire time! I was so shocked. She even tilted her head down when it was time to cut the back. I can't believe how good she was. I think she enjoyed it. She also sat still when her hair was blow dried. My hairstylist said that Katelyn was the best first time haircut she's ever done! Of course we were proud!!!

A trim trim here, a snip snip there...

I finally bit the bullet and called my hairdresser and made an appointment for Katelyn. I have been putting it off because I didn't want to cut off her pretty hair. Now it's getting to the point where it hangs down very low over her eyes and we have to either clip or pull it back. So I decided now was the time, I would've done it myself but Brad wasn't fond of that idea! I plan on taking my camera and I'm hoping she won't cry for this event! I'm now looking forward to it!


In house news it's kind of been at a stand still because of 1) the weather and 2) the framers weren't done with the house they were previously working on. Hopefully they will be able to start later this week or next week.

Happy Mother's Day to everyone in our families! We wish them a great day! Brad and Katelyn got me a beautiful vase of flowers and they each gave me a wonderful card! Love them!

Katelyn and I also want to wish daddy a wonderful birthday! It was yesterday and it was a nice day.

That bites!

I gave Katelyn a bath earlier and found an interesting mark on the back of her arm above her elbow. I quickly realized that it was a bite mark. I knew that it wasn't made by herself because of the placement and it definitely wasn't Lacey. It was an obvious child bite. So tomorrow both Brad and I will mention it to her daycare advisor. I was upset at first but I guess it is to be expected in a place full of children!

Brad went out with the camera and took a short video of the house, or basement so far. Right now it is prepped and ready for them to pour the cement basement floor. The put down the plastic and rebar yesterday. So hopefully they will pour on Monday, as long as the weather cooperates! We will post more pictures then.
