A few notes before I begin my story;
1. Jasmine is a large cat. Ok, she's fat.
2. She likes to follow me into the bathroom when I get ready in the morning.
3. She loves to sit in the sink, and believe me, she fills it up!
4. She steals.
So, this morning when I got up naturally she follows me into the bathroom and after I washed my face and brushed my teeth Jasmine jumps onto the counter and settles into the sink. I usually don't pay much attention to her as she just lays there and purrs. As I was putting my make up on I had to use a q-tip and then layed it down on the counter. A few seconds later Jasmine decides she wants to get down and lay on the floor. I continue getting ready for work. I need to use my q-tip again and all of a sudden its gone, I couldn't remember what I did with it. So I just got another one, a few seconds pass by and I realize that Jasmine had jumped down and when I looked at her I saw that she had stolen my q-tip and was in the process of ripping off the cotton. That little theif! I don't want her to eat the cotton so I promptly took it back and threw it in the trash, what can I do but laugh! She's my own cat burglar, I know bad joke.
• On a side note: yesterday was my 3rd day for the Shred workout. Its going pretty good, not as bad as I thought. I'm a little sore today but I expected that, its a great workout and am hoping for good results.

Family / 3 month pics
The Friday before Easter we went to get some family pictures along with Katelyn's 3 month pictures at Sears Portrait. I finally got those pictures back and they turned out great. Katelyn does so well with the camera! Although she only smiled for the family pictures and we couldn't get her to smile for her individual shots. She did really well and only started to get tired and fussy at the very end. She fell asleep while we were choosing the shots. I re-did the design at the top of the page to include our new shots. Here are some of our favorites...

PediPed
Searching online I found these adorable shoes called Pediped ( www.pediped.com ) They are supposed to be great for children and I want something comfortable for Katelyn. I think I remember Hillary saying something about this shoe at one point but I'm not sure. I want to get something like this for Katelyn when she starts moving around, probably the crawling stage. She's already working on her leg strength, when we stand her up she will try to push off - my strong little girl!!!
Here are some pictures of the ones that I like and are pretty plain compared to the others on the site, but I'd want plain ones to match all of her many outfits! The first one is called Isabella and is a brown shoe and the second one is actually called Katelyn and is a white shoe.
I can't wait to buy her something like this! These shoes are conveniently sold at Pinky Scout in Troy so thats great if I want to check them out in person. I'll have Aunt Laura for all of the tennis shoes, she's already got a pair of Nike's that she has to grow into yet.

15 weeks
Katelyn is 15 weeks today, to be precise she was at 12:56 a.m. I forgot my camera to upload the new pictures that I took, but basically yesterday Katelyn found her toes! At least on her right side, every time I change her or lay her down she will pick her legs up and with her right hand grab her right foot. It was so cute to watch. She is learning so much.
Last night I also finally got our family/3 month pictures from Sears Portrait. They turned out great and we love them. Now I have to cut them apart and hand them out to the families. Plus I've got to buy new frames, I have a ton of pictures and no where to put them!
This weekend should be a busy one. On Saturday its the Piqua Invitational and I go to that every year to cheer on my cross country girls. I'm hoping to make it to this years meet. I want to take Katelyn also so it may be a short visit, I don't want to chance a sunburn. Later that day we might meet up with friends Jim & Jamie to hang out. On Sunday Katelyn and I will be going to Rachel's bridal shower, so it'll be fun to dress her up for that. I'll be sure to take pictures.

30 day shred
Only my closest relatives know that during the last 2-3 months of my pregnancy I had to take steroids to boost my platelet count for my delivery. Those steroids took a toll on my body and I'm having a really hard time dealing with and dropping the baby weight. So yesterday I ordered the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred dvd and it'll be here on Monday. I'm hoping that it'll work. I've read reviews about it from other women trying to get back to their pre-pregnancy sizes. Apparently its really tough in the beginning but you'll get used to it. It says that you can lose up to 20 pounds which is how much I will need to lose to get to my former weight. Ideally I'd like to lose 30 but I'm hoping to just get that 20 at first. Once I start it I will keep you updated on how its going. Currently I'm trying to eat healthy with salads, I just need to keep it up!

14 weeks
On Friday Katelyn was 14 weeks old! She is picking more and more things up. She is keeping her head up when she is doing tummy time, she even will stay on her tummy longer now before she gets to frustrated and will start crying! I'm pretty sure I heard a laugh when my mom and dad were out at the house on Saturday. Unfortunately Brad wasn't there to hear it. When Brad or I smile at her she will return the smile which is very cute to see. She got to see a lot of Grandma and Grandpa Brown as well as Aunt Laura over the weekend. She had a good time. Oh, and the last two pictures, Brad said he just had to do that! (Brad picked out that outfit from OshKosh and now I know why!)

bunny
Katelyn had gotten a stuffed bunny rabbit toy for Easter from Grandma DeWeese on Sunday and has been playing with it. Every time I change her diaper I give it to her as a distraction so she won't move around so much. I've taken a few pictures of her with it...
Grandma Brown also got her a bunny rabbit but it was a little to big for Katelyn to pick up so we're saving that one for later!
Here are a few new pictures.

Mallori's gift
Over Easter I received a cute bracelet from my cousin Mallori. I absolutely love it and have been wearing it ever since. I've just taken a picture of it today or else I would've posted about it sooner. It has beads that would resemble her birthstone and her name in block beads. I can't thank her enough! :)

Easter
Sunday of course was Easter. We spent the later part of the day at Great Grandma Grimes' house. Katelyn was passed around to everyone and did really well with it. I wanted to get pictures of everyone holding her but of course forgot my camera until half way through. I had her in a cute dress but that didn't last long as it kept riding up every time someone was holding her. So I put her in brown polka dot pants, she still looked cute! She spit up on cousin Whitney almost immediately! We just laughed as I wiped off Whit's arm! There was an egg hunt for Britney's two boys, it was funny to watch. Katelyn finally got to wear her cute coat. After that Brandi and Britney got to hold Katelyn. They are both pregnant and I couldn't be happier for them. :) The last picture is Katelyn in Grandpa & Grandma's bouncer trying to calm down after being fussy. She slept really well after our busy day.
BabyLegs, Uncle Kevin & Aunt Hillary
On Thursday I made a trip up to Troy to the store Pinky Scout. It is an adorable store and had such cute stuff. I finally got my BabyLegs for Katelyn. They didn't have any Ugly Dolls in stock though, maybe next time! They had cute shoes, definitely have to get some when she's big enough. I put them on her and she was checking them out! It was funny. They were cute on her.
On Saturday we all went up to Columbus to see Kevin and Hillary and got to meet her family for the first time. It was a lot of fun and her family is so nice. After meeting at their house we went out to eat to the Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe. That place is so cool, a lot of history and stuff to look at. At one point I had to change Katelyn's diaper and so on the way to and from the bathroom she was staring into the glass cases. She loves to look at everything! She did really well and slept on the way home. All in all we had a great day.
